Kagame condolences to King Charles in phone call yesterday

 Rwanda President Paul Kagame says he has have a personal phone call with King Charles III in which he do his condolences following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II former Monarch.

"Rwanda looks forward to working together with King Charles III to move the Common-wealth agenda forward in service of all our citizens," President Kagame post on Twitter.

President Kagame hosted then-Prince Charles in June during the Common-wealth Heads of Governments Meeting, where the monarch expressed his personal sorrow at the suffering caused by the slave trade but stopped short of an apology.

The British royal added it was up to individual states to decide whether they wished to remain members of the organisation.
