Ebonyi reports partial complaince done by Sit at home

Sit at home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, was Monday partially adhered to by Residents of the Abakaliki metropolis.

While many shops, eateries and businesses centres were closed to business, some filling stations and POS centres operated without hitch.

Driving around the capital city, one would observes that the usual rush hour that accompanies Monday activities was not prevalent as residents were scarcely seen on the road going about their normal businesses.

A teacher who teaches in one of the popular schools in the State, told Gopde Resources global how the school’s resumption was characterized by a low turn-out of pupils.

“In fact, the turn-out today was very low. I Am teaching in a class of 20 pupils but only 7 children came to school today.”
