Bringing Robert Lewandoski to the club did not stop Barcelona from losing 2-0 to Bayern Munich when they play on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.

The Catalan club had not won on the road against Bayern prior to this meeting and were hoping for a change of fortune.

After a goalless first half dominated by Barcelona, 2 early second half goals condemned Xavi Hernandez’s men to yet another loss to the six times winners of the competition.

Lucas Hernandez opened Bayern’s account on the night and scoring just five minutes after resumption of proceedings against first half run of play.
