Why Tompolo, FG must reach out to us by Edo oil producing communities for N48bn pipeline contract

Oil producing communities and other stakeholders at Edo State on Saturday, demanded former militant leader and Commander of the defunct Movement for Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), Government Ekpemupolo, (A.K.A Tompolo) and the Federal Government to reach out to them on the heels of award of N48bn pipeline surveillance contract by the Federal Government for collaboration and effective protection of the oil pipelines particularly in Edo State Nigeria.

Speaking due to behalf of the oil producing communities and stakeholders in Edo State, Chief Dr Patrick Osagie Eholor, (A.K.A) Ultimate Equals, pointed that violence, theft or pipeline destruction could happen in any part of Niger Delta State, and disrupt the flow of crude and affect the economy, hence Tompolo and Federal Government should take Edo State oil producing communities and stakeholders along as it is very crucial that either he or the Federal government reaches out to them, if they want to assure that their is smooth operations in the territories with the pipelines.

Eholor, who is also a human rights activist and social crusader emphatically stated that stakeholders in Edo State would embrace and work in harmony with the FG and Tompolo in order to secure the oil and gas pipelines in Edo State Nigeria.

He said: “I am surprised that the whole security apparati of this country has failed us. Be it army, navy, air force, police or civil defence, they have not been patriotic to this country, they have failed us woefully, abysmally.
